Seeing as though I just made laundry detergent and had the utensils soapy I thought why not stock up on hand soap ! We use alot. Between my cooking , crafting, and double hand washing and Jeffs garage grease monkey stuff going on.. Save money make your own, I promise its easy and you can pick your scent. Today I kept it basic. YOu will need.

2 bars of soap (Again I used Dial gylcerin Power berry)

1 1/2 gallons water

4 tablespons coconut oil

box grater

Pot big enough for water

empty containers for finished product

I used jars

Grate your soap first, add to your pot and add the water. Turn your heat to medium high, I used 8. and heat until all soap is dissolved completely. Now add your coconut oil and stir until that is melted and thoroughly combined into soap and water. That is it. Turn off heat, allow to cool and poor into your containers you've chosen. Soft, healthy hand soap for a fraction of what it would have cost to buy.
